MY STORY

Cindy Bubla

LCSW-R, CAHCC

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to understanding people—their struggles, their strengths, and the hidden layers that make them who they are. That calling led me to become a clinical social worker, and for the past 17 years, my work has been rooted in emotional healing, personal growth, and relationship building.

I began my career as a school social worker in special education, spending 10 years supporting children and families through emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. Those years shaped me deeply. I saw how emotional well-being—or the lack of it—can ripple through an entire family and community, affecting relationships, confidence, and the ability to thrive.

Over time, I realized that while traditional talk therapy could be powerful, it often didn’t reach the deeper layers where lasting change begins. I wanted to help people heal at the root, not just manage symptoms. That search led me to integrative approaches that honor the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.

Discovering Internal Family Systems (IFS) was a turning point in my work. IFS helped me see how we all have different “parts” within us—parts that protect, parts that carry pain, and parts that hold forgotten strengths. When we meet these parts with curiosity and compassion, we unlock the possibility for true transformation.

Today, I bring together my years of clinical experience—drawing from traditional therapy modalities as well as IFS, mindfulness, and somatic approaches—to help individuals, couples, and families move through trauma, rebuild self-worth, and create a life that feels balanced, connected, and whole. In our work together, we explore the patterns and protective parts that may be keeping you stuck, gently process and release old wounds, and build emotional resilience. We also focus on creating healthier ways of relating—whether that’s learning to communicate more openly, setting boundaries without guilt, deepening self-understanding, or finding peace in the middle of life’s challenges.

My approach is collaborative and deeply compassionate. I believe therapy is not about “fixing” you—it’s about helping you reconnect with the strengths, clarity, and wisdom you already have within you. Whether you’re seeking to heal from past hurts, navigate a major life transition, or simply feel more at home in yourself, I’m here to walk alongside you every step of the way.

If you're ready to take the next step in your healing journey, I invite you to connect with me. Together, we can work toward lasting change and help you rebuild a life of balance, peace, and fulfillment.

"Healing is not about fixing what's broken; it's about rediscovering the strength that was always within you. Growth happens when we allow ourselves the grace to evolve, one step at a time."
